

Mary Kelemen, 93, passed away in Chandler, Ariz. on Saturday, June 3, 2017, after a brief illness. A Clifton, N.J. native, Mary was assistant manager at the Clifton branch of the First National Bank of New Jersey until she retired after 25 years of service. She and her husband, John, moved to Arizona in 1989. A tremendous storyteller who was the life of every social gathering, Mary doted on her family, particularly her great-granddaughter, Charlotte. Mary was predeceased by her husband, John; her sister, Dorothy Richter (Raymond); and her only child, John (Gayle). She is survived by her grandson, John Kelemen (Laura); her granddaughter, Gayle Snible (Ed); her great-granddaughter, Charlotte Snible; and her daughter-in-law, Gayle Kelemen. She was an active member of SS Peter & Paul Eastern Orthodox Church for as long as she lived in Arizona. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 9, 2017, at SS Peter & Paul, 1614 E. Monte Vista Road, Phoenix 85006, immediately followed by internment at Green Acres Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Road, Scottsdale 85257.
