Michael D. Kendall, 71, of Tempe, passed away September 30, 2016. He was born in Phoenix on April 15, 1945 and graduated from North High School before serving in the US Navy. Michael worked in electrical engineering at Motorola/General Dynamics. He had a passion for electronics and loved spending time at Mormon Lake. Mike was born an only child and was the most protected child on the block. His first job was Safeway before he went into the Navy. Mike enjoyed cars, Route 66, tinkering and fixing things around the house, and loved his beer. Mike was always smiling and quick with a joke. He will be greatly missed by many. He is survived by his daughters, Shanna (Manuel) and Justina (Scott); sons, Scott (Autumn) and Donald; and six grandchildren: Michael, Danielle, Scott Jr, Camry, Patience, and Temperance. Funeral services will be held at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery in Scottsdale at 11:00 am, Friday, October 14 with a visitation beforehand and graveside to follow. A reception following Michael's funeral and graveside services will be held at the DAV - Chapter 22 Center at 1510 N 79th St in Scottsdale (85257).
