Mike was born February 26, 1940 in Brooklyn, New York and married his high school sweetheart, Anita Mary (Schettini) on September 29, 1962. They welcomed two loving sons, Michael and David, and in August 1972 they moved his family to Scottsdale, Arizona.
Mike worked as a Plant Supervisor for Scottsdale Unified School District for 26 years, mainly at Kiva Elementary until his retirement in 2003.
Mike was best known for his quick wit, infectious laugh and kind, compassionate spirit. He enjoyed sports and spending time with family, especially his nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Mike will be laid to rest at Green Acres Cemetery, 401 N Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
