My relationship with my Grandmother started when I was young. However, it was the last 26 years that I wouldn’t trade for the world. We become really close and have a very special relationship. We share many things in common -our love for strawberries, butterflies, history & books to name a few. She was charismatic, full of spirit and spunk and she didn’t hold back. I think I got some of her qualities such as her honesty and directness 😊😊😊

I received a call late one night from my cousin, Kelly, 2 nights before my grandmother passed away. My Grandmother was brushing her hair and “getting ready to go to the dance”. She wanted her pearls. She was so happy that it made me happy and I will forever remember her going “to the dance” where she was, undoubtedly, meeting our Grandfather, Harry, the love of her life.

I will forever miss our visits and your daily texts. I know I am supposed to say RIP but I really think you are out there doing the Waltz w/ Harry, kicking up your heels and the life of the party! DANCE GRANDMOTHER DANCE!! I love you #GratefulGrandaughter,
Love, Kim
