Mildred Evelyn Schaaf, 94, passed peacefully in Scottsdale, AZ, on May 1, 2013. She was born on July 25, 1918, in Mcleansboro, Illinois, to loving parents Harvey Oscar and Nellie Florence (Burnett) Boyer. She married the love of her life Lyle Keith Schaaf on May 31, 1941 in Holton, Kansas. She was a kind and thoughtful person that lived out her years enjoying card games such as playing Canasta, Parcheesi, and Gin Rummy. She is preceded by her parents, husband Lyle, daughters Susan Kelly, and Sally Rector. She is survived by her son-in-law Kevin; granddaughter Jenna White; grandsons Sean and Matthew Kelly; great grandchildren Nevaeh and Jade White; sister Mary Rogers; niece Stefani Brannon; nephews Steven and Scott Rogers; 3 great nieces and nephews: 9 great great nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins. Funeral Services are scheduled for Noon, Friday, May 10th, 2013, at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, Arizona, 85257.
