Born on June 10, 1941, in Lamotte-Beuvron, France, to Adrienne Dejax, Mireille lived a life defined by strength, perseverance, dedication, and love. She was an extraordinary woman whose impact extended far beyond her many accomplishments. She was a woman of remarkable character who worked hard, faced life with determination, and left a lasting impression on the people fortunate enough to know and love her.
In 1961, Mireille married James Taylor Sr. in Germany. Together, they built a family and welcomed three children: Valerie Taylor, James Taylor Jr., and Natalie Taylor. Her family was an important part of her life’s story, and the love and memories they shared will continue to be cherished for generations.
Mireille was a testament to the meaning of hard work and dedication. She spent more than 20 years working at Motorola, where she eventually retired. Retirement, however, did not slow her down. She went on to work at Costco for another 15 years, demonstrating the same commitment, resilience, and strong work ethic that defined her throughout her life. Her years of service reflected a woman who understood the value of hard work and took pride in what she did.
But Mireille’s life was about so much more than her work. She was an amazing woman whose life, strength, and presence helped shape the family she leaves behind. Her journey from France to building a life and family across the world speaks to the courage and determination that were part of her story. The lessons she imparted, the memories she created, and the love she gave will remain a lasting part of her family’s legacy.
Mireille is survived by her daughters, Natalie Taylor and Valerie Taylor; her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her sister and brother; and many other beloved family members who will continue to honor her memory.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Taylor Sr.; her son, James Taylor Jr.; and her grandson, Dimitri Taylor.
Though Mireille’s passing leaves an immeasurable void in the hearts of those who loved her, her life was a blessing, her memory will be a treasure, and her legacy will live on through the generations of family she leaves behind. She will be remembered for the remarkable woman she was, the life she built, and the lasting place she holds in the hearts of those who loved her.
Mireille’s life was one worth celebrating, her legacy one worth honoring, and her memory one that will never be forgotten.
