Nancy Gagleard, 70, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Scottsdale, Arizona, on July 15, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 3, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Jane Arens. Nancy attended St. Mary of Redford High School and graduated from Michigan State in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science.
Nancy was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Alan, with whom she shared a life filled with love and treasured memories. Married in March 1985, they moved to Arizona in 1986 and celebrated 41 years together. She was a loving mother to her two children, Gabrielle (Benjamin) and Aaron (Ashley), and a very proud grandmother to Hayden, Hunter, Austin, and Presley.
Known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and caring nature, Nancy had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and loved. She was truly one of the sweetest people, always ready with compassion, warmth, and a smile. She appreciated the simple pleasures in life, finding happiness in everyday moments, the company of family and friends, and, of course, her love of chocolate, cupcakes and Josh Groban.
Nancy's legacy is one of unconditional love, generosity, and quiet strength. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we take comfort in the countless beautiful memories she leaves behind and the love she shared so freely throughout her life.
Forever loved. Forever remembered.
