With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Carol Loyd of Midland, TX, a beloved wife, mom, sister, daughter, and friend who touched the lives of many. Nancy passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona, at the age of 64.
Nancy Carol Loyd was born on December 15, 1960, in Oklahoma City, OK, to Richard D. Cramer and Joan Hanson Cramer. She grew up in Midland, TX, and attended Midland High School and Texas Tech University. As a successful travel consultant in Midland, she formed many life-long relationships with her clients from all walks of life. Her love for cooking allowed her to become well-known for her delicious Danish pastry that was shared with countless friends and family around the holidays. Nancy loved playing golf, traveling, being outdoors and out on the water, and her loyal dog Domino. Her laughter and light will be missed by all who knew her.
Nancy was a devout follower of Christ and spread love and joy to those around her. Throughout her healing journey, she was able to connect with others from all over the world, foster many relationships, and spread the word of God to those who crossed her path. The mornings allowed her time to start her day with her Bible opened, devotionals nearby, and a hot cup of flavorful tea. Many times, she would read and share specific thoughts, Bible verses, and prayers with those who were on her heart.
Along with her faith, family was a central part to Nancy’s life, and her presence will be missed at all future family gatherings. Nancy is survived by her husband, Terry Loyd, her son Blake Loyd, his wife, Kelly and her mother, Joan Cramer, the matriarch of the family, who will turn 100 this July. She is survived by her brother, Scott Cramer and wife Debbie of Midland, and their sons Brian and Jeff, her brother, Wade Cramer and wife Ann of Melissa, TX, and their children Leah, Ken, Karen, and Alysen, brother, Roger Cramer of Midland, TX, brother, Walt Cramer and wife Terrie of Abilene, TX, and their daughters Caitlin and Courtney, and sister, Robin Farris and her husband Barry of McKinney, TX, and their children Brent and Lindsey.
