In the middle of the afternoon when I found out that Nanette had passed, I screamed, "No!" In the middle of the night, I cried. Now in the morning, I'm remembering Nanette, as this most valuable human being. She made me and all who just met her feel like they were most important person to her in that instant. Of course, her grandchildren were always in her heart. She missed them so much during this pandemic. But, whoever came into her path or to her desk at work, in her presence felt relieved, for whatever your concern or news was, this was a person who "got" you. I'm going to miss this beautiful, irreplaceable soul.

I procrastinated on writing my memories with and about Nanette because it doesn’t seem real. Yes, I know we all have to leave this earth one day, but that day came too soon for our sweet Nanette. I met Nanette when she first started here at Cobblestone Apartments. I had always looked forward to seeing her because, she always had a smile on her face and a story to tell. She had given me so many encouraging words while I was battling my health issues and I am forever grateful for that. We must all cherish our memories of sweet Nanette and allow her to rest peacefully. Miss you Nanette!! 💐
Love Dennise, at Cobblestone Apartments
