Naomi "Lee" Fix

Fix, Naomi "Lee" 91, of Tempe, AZ passed away peacefully July 6, 2015 at home with her two sons by her side. She was born in 1923 in Portland, OR to Albert and Mabel Andreen. Lee Graduated from Ballard High School in Seattle, WA in 1941. She then went on to work for the American Red Cross both here and abroad before, during, and after the years of WWII. In 1948, Lee married Captain Alfred "Jack" Fix and they were happily married for 27 years until his passing in 1975. We can all rejoice that they are now reunited. Lee was very active in several Civic clubs including the Tempe Garden Club where she was the Club Treasurer for many, many years, The Tempe Lions Club and the Tempe Republican Women's Club. Lee made friends easily and always made others feel warm, comfortable and needed. We will miss you dear heart. Lee is survived by 3 children, Cynthia Lenore Atwood, Richard James Fix and Robert John Fix; 2 grandchildren, Bayard McIntosh Atwood IV and Aaron Andreen Atwood. In lieu of flowers, please donate in her honor to any cancer research cause. Visitation will be on Monday, July 13 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257. Funeral service is Noon, Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Green Acres Mortuary.
