Nina Elizabeth Bartlett Carpenter, 94, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015. She was born in Mt. Vernon, OH on July 19, 1921 to William Bartlett and Bessie Newton. Nina worked for 40 years for the Scottsdale Unified School District, 32 years of that time were spent at Hopi Elementary School as the Administrative Assistant to 13 principals. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, David. Nina is survived by her only daughter, Miriam. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 from 7-9 pm at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, AZ. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 10am with a visitation one hour prior at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 2202 N. 74th St., Scottsdale, AZ.
