Patricia Lillie Childs

She was born in Cambridge, MA on October 17, 1939. Patricia L. Childs graduated from Cambridge High and Latin School and received her diploma in 1957. Patricia had a career in IRS Appeals Division for over 30 years.She had a passion for bowling, sewing and cooking for her friends and family.

She is survived by her children Patricia Thornham (Bruce), Barbara Aubrey, Pamela James (Eric) and Sebastian Childs. Grandchildren; Spencer Aubrey, Ashley Pettis (Hank), Brandon Aubrey, Aaron Aubrey (Chelsea), Jocelyn James, and Samantha James. Great grandchildren; Myles Aubrey, Anthony Aubrey, Henry Pettis, Avery Pettis, and Keo Aubrey. She is also survived by a host of family and friends.

Fill not your heart with pain and sorrow,

but remember me in every tomorrow.

Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles,

I’ve only gone to rest a little while.

Although my leaving causes pain and grief,

my going has eased my hurt

and given me relief.
