Paul Peranio, 95, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, in Tempe, Arizona. Paul was born in Ummari, Trapani, Sicily, on June 7, 1917, to loving parents Vito and Maria (Oddo) Peraino. He married his wife, Katherine, whom he loved and cared for until she passed away in 2002. Paul and Katherine raised their two daughters and lived most of their marriage in New York surrounded by close friends. Upon retiring, Katherine, Paul, and their youngest daughter Roseann, moved to Arizona in 1980. Paul is survived by his two daughters, Maria and Roseann. Daughter Maria Stein of Tempe, son-in-law, Henry, and granddaughter Rachel; daughter, Roseann Fox, Kenny Page, and grandson, Brandon. Funeral arrangements will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Green Acres Chapel of Light.
