Paula S. Shulak, 78, passed away peacefully in Dewey, AZ on December 22, 2014 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Albany, New York on June 20, 1936 to Saul and Sadie Segal, joining older sisters Eleanor and Marion. Paula worked as a teacher and also loved the theater, participating as a director, actress, producer and arts reviewer. She was also active in her synagogue and treasured spiritual things. Paula was loved dearly and will be missed by her husband, Carl ; daughters Rena and Ellen; sons, Ronald and Edward; & 12 grandchildren. Memorial services are scheduled at 2PM on Friday, 1-2-15 at Valley Unitarian Universalist Church, 6400 W. Del Rio, Chandler, AZ. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society or ‘NefeshSoul’ PO Box 51591, Phoenix AZ 85076 would be appreciated.
