Hey uncle, every once in a while I find myself thinking about you and I can't help but to cry. Things would've been so different with you here. I miss you so much. They say time will heal but there's no healing a death of a family. You were everyone's true definition of a super hero. You always made it known that you were only a phone call away and now, your just prayers away but you and I both know it's just not the same. Every trip, every picture, every birthday, every holiday, and every family gathering there's always one missing puzzle. I know your the spiritually but it's just not the same. My Uncle... my protector. Its nights like these when I stay up thinking about you, worrying about you and missing you. I never knew missing anyone would hurt as much as this but it does. Words cant express the pain, and regret. I wish I could have done more, said more and showed more. We all love you so much Uncle... I know things happen but it hurts a lot. Not seeing you here. Were always gonna have a missing smile in our family picture. I ask God why when I know I shouldnt... I just hope your happy where you are and find peace wherever you go. I love you so much....

It's so hard for me to let you rest in Paradise. I will never forget the look in your eyes right before you took your last breathe. I told you everything was going to be OK, not knowing it was going to be the last time I see your beautiful eyes. I know you don't like that I'm not eating or sleeping, but I just miss you so much. I miss your phone calls and your text messages. All the trips you wanted me to take with you to California, I wish I would have. I'm glad we took the 4th of July trip together. I love and miss you so much little brother.

Although I never met him I was blessed to have understood the love his family has for him and how difficult this is for you all. Sometimes there are no words that can be said during times like these, we can only remember and then smile. (friend of Vilavahn)

Phong, I will cherish all of our childhood memories together; playing basketball, playing marbles, riding our bikes and playing/jumping over the canal.  Forever I though that canal was HUGED! Went back to our old neighborhood a while back and that canal was small.  LOL.  I miss you and love you my dear friend, my family.  You will always be in my heart.  Until we meet again in Paradise!
