

Phyllis Jean Richardson Smith, 77, passed away on May 20, 2026, in Mesa, Arizona. Born on July 4, 1948, in Dragerton, Utah, Phyllis lived a life filled with creativity, humor, and deep love for her family and friends.
Phyllis joins her husband, Terry; her children, Allan, Carrie, and Marshall; her parents Cliff and Lucille; and siblings Marvin, Robert and April in eternal rest. She is survived by her grandson, William Palmer (Brittney Johnson), daughter in law Carolyn Wilkie, step daughter Tarralee Smith, close family friend Mike W, her beloved fur babies Copper May and Penny Lynn and many cherished relatives and friends.
She found great joy in quilting and creating beautiful ceramic pieces—talents that reflected both her creativity and her caring spirit. Phyllis will be remembered for her sassy, fun, energetic, and artistic nature, and for the love she gave so freely to those around her.
Phyllis's burial will be in Price, Utah. A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
