She was 86 years of age. She was born in Natrona Heights, PA and moved to Arizona 53
years ago. Phyllis ended a longtime teaching career at Supai Middle School.
She was a charter member of the former Los Arcos United Methodist Church
and served as a member of the choir.
She is survived by her children Randi Brereton and David and Kim
Wertz; 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and sisters, Rachel Green
and Alberta Janosky.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014
at 2:00 PM, in Skirm Auditorium in Friendship Village of Tempe at 2645 E. Southern Ave.
She will be sorely missed but her strength will endure.
