Ralph R Brooks

Ralph Robert Brooks, 89, of Mesa Arizona passed away on July 3rd, 2026, surrounded by loved ones peacefully at home. Ralph was born at home in Jersey County, IL to William Ralph Elkanna Brooks and Lula Lucille Brooks (Perrin) on January 25th, 1937. He graduated from Medora High School in 1955 and married Donna Wise on August 3rd, 1956. Ralph was known for his love of God and Family. He was also known by many friends and even acquaintances for his cinnamon rolls. He touched so many lives in his 89 years.

Ralph had three siblings: Mary Jo Brinkman (deceased), Ethel Anderson, and Ronnie Lee Brooks. Ralph and Donna had three daughters together: Robbin Deann Clark (Chuck), Leann Knox (Jim & Gary – deceased), and Angela Fuller (Randy). They also had seven grandchildren: Cami and Cory Clark (deceased), Cyle Clark, Jason Person, Dustin Person, Travis Fuller, and Courtney Miga. They were all such a blessing and joy in their lives. Their great grandchildren were Tristin Rayburn, Cory Clark Jr, Emmalynn, Chance, and Kami Clark. Rion, Emily, Charlie, Colt, and Dash Person. Tatum Vandergeeten, and Landon Miga. Brenlee, Aubree, and Ava Fuller. They also had a few bonus grandchildren: Anali McGill, Cadance Maxwell, and Charlie Hough. They loved and enjoyed all these children in their life. They had five great great grandchildren: Remington, Kimber, Koko, Louie and Josiah.

The Brooks family moved to Arizona in 1968. The family made Mesa First Church of the Nazarene their family church. All their daughters were married there by Pastor George Psuate. Ralph worked as a Welder and Salesman when they first came to Arizona. Then Ralph and Donna opened a couple restaurants in Mesa Arizona. For a short time, they lived in Mississippi and Oklahoma and worked at church camps there, then finally came back to Arizona and called Prescott home. They worked at Camp Pinerock, Pine Summitt, and Chancy Ranch. Most of their time spent working at these camps were in the kitchen preparing all the food, and it was such a blessing to their life to do it together until Donna’s passing on February 18th, 2008. They celebrated 52 wonderful years together. Ralph later married Patricia Brooks on August 2nd, 2008, and they lived in Mesa Arizona for 17 years until his passing.

His three daughters loved him dearly and will miss him. We love you so much, Dad!

Services will be held on Saturday, July 11th, 2026, at Green Acres Cemetery located at 401 Hayden Rd. Scottsdale AZ 85257. Viewing 10-1030am, 1030-1130am service, and 1130 graveside.
