
Ralph Nelson Roth, DDS, was born on July 28, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio, and passed away peacefully, February 18, 2012, in Scottsdale, Arizona, surrounded by his loving family. Dr. Roth earned his undergraduate and dental degrees from The Ohio State University, and remained a loyal, true fan of the Buckeyes for life. He would go on to service for three years as a Dentist in the Navy at Camp Pendleton, California. He was a renaissance man with a vast knowledge of history, especially the Civil War. He loved old movies, Shane, being one of his favorites. He was a nature lover who enjoyed bird watching, geology, flora and fauna, traveled the entire state of Arizona and took extensive classes at Scottsdale Community College. He loved golf, and was proud of his two holes-in-one, but mostly the camaraderie and close friendships he made with all of his golfing buddies. He will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends. Dr. Roth was preceded in death by his beloved son David L. Roth. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margo, and their children Leslie (Mark) Freed, Tracey (Danny) Wittenberg, and Sue (Steve) German, and his seven grandchildren: Annie, Jamie and Jonathan German, Rachel and Jordan Freed, and David and Samantha Wittenberg.
