Ramesh Mehta

Raised in Kanpur, India, Ramesh’s life was shaped by perseverance and determination. As a young student, he studied by the light on the steps of the library and earned a scholarship to IIT Kanpur, beginning a remarkable journey defined by intellect, resilience, and ambition.

Ramesh made his home in Trumbull, Connecticut, where family was always his greatest priority. A brilliant vibrations engineer, he traveled the world sharing his expertise, earning deep respect in his field. Outside of work, he loved cricket, watching football, and listening to stories about his children’s lives.

He is survived by his wife, Poonam Mehta; his brother, Sharan Mehta; his son and best friend, Ash Mehta, and daughter-in-law Sharanya Mehta; his daughter, Arushi Mehta Towne, and son-in-law Dr. James Towne; and his cherished grandchildren, Shaun (9) and Nina (8).

Known for his warm smile, Ramesh was a man of intelligence, kindness, and quiet strength, whose life was defined by his devotion to family. His legacy endures through the love he shared and the many lives he touched.

A funeral ceremony will be held at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, located at 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257, United States. The ceremony is scheduled for February 9, 2026, from 9:45 am to 11:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to be made to the Parkinson's Foundation in honor of Ramesh.
