Ramona M. Thompson, 89, from Aberdeen, South Dakota died September 5, 2018 in Scottsdale, Arizona. She was born to Claude and Clara Taylor on July 6,1929 in McLaughlin, South Dakota. Ramona worked for the Bureau of Indian Affairs for 34 years. From 1961 to 1984, she served as General Clerk Stenographer in the Branch of Roads. She enjoyed gardening, baking and being with her family. Her husband, Vernon Thompson, sister, Hazel Szeliga, and brothers, Floyd and Robert Taylor preceded her in death. Ramona is survived by her daughter Ann (Jeff) Schneidman, her granddaughters, Nicole Schneidman, San Francisco, California and Lindsey Schneidman, Phoenix, Arizona, her sisters Claudette Moran, Aberdeen, South Dakota, Mary (Dave) Miller, Omaha, Nebraska and Valerie (Curt) Voegele, Omaha, Nebraska. Services will be held on Saturday, September 8, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Phoenix, Arizona.
