Richard Davis

Richard D Davis, 78, of Mesa, Arizona passed from us on Saturday, April 2nd. He died peacefully in his sleep at home in his bed. Richard was born in Russell Springs, KS on June 18th, 1932. He is survived by his four children - Pamela Johnson, Matt Davis, Mark Davis and Kent Davis. He joins his wife Maxyne Davis who passed away on January 8th, 2001.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 AM on Thursday April 7th at Green Acres Memorial Cemetery in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Richard served in the military as a young man and spent more than 40 years as a Department of Defense civilian Aviation Engineer before retiring in 1987. Richard has 6 grandchildren, Amiee, Tyler, Heyleigh, Elizabeth, Maxyne and Kendra. He also has two great grandchildren, Cameron and Rylee. His faith in God and love for his family is his everlasting legacy. Please say a prayer of hope that we can all live our lives with such quiet dignity. Farewell Richard Davis, you will be missed!
