

Frederick (Rick) Lowell Brown, SR, 74 of Scottsdale, Arizona went to be with his Lord on August 9th, 2015. He was united with his beloved daughter Laurie Denise Brown, his parents and a long line of other family members and friends who proceeded him in death.
Rick was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and a terrific friend. He is survived by his loving wife Emelyn Gayle Brown of 54 years, daughter Vicki Allison McGill and son Frederick L Brown JR, four grandchildren, Brother Dr. Walter T Brown his wife Margaret (Peggy) sister Katha Brown Morrill and husband Rod. Sister in law Katheryn Ann Hatton and Leonard, Brother in law James Lloyd Blackwell, wife Laura and many nieces and nephews.
Rick was born January 6th, 1941 to Walter T Brown and Dorothy Bayne Brown in Kansas City, MO. He lived his early childhood in Toledo Ohio until 1957 when the family came to Phoenix. Rick graduated from Camelback High School in 1959 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Baker University in Baldwin Kansas. Rick was the owner and CEO of Sandstone Creations, INC a southwest manufacturing company. He was founder and charter member of the Oasis organization started in 1976 and served on their board of directors for many years. Rick was currently working for Tuscany Retirement Community in Scottsdale, Arizona.
He was a long time member of Scottsdale Bible Church. Rick was a strong man of faith with a kind and tender heart, he walked with integrity and anyone who had the blessing of knowing him loved him. He had a selfless dedication to his God, family and friends. Many lives have been immeasurable enriched by knowing him. Rick will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know him.
