Robert Joseph Brown Jr.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert “Bob” Joseph Brown JR., who departed this life at age 91 on 2/24/2026 in Gilbert, AZ. Bob was cherished by family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit touched countless lives.

Born on October 15, 1934, in Kansas City, MO, Bob grew up in Abilene, TX. After graduating high school, he was accepted into the United States Navel Academy in 1952. He graduated with honors from the Academy in 1956 and married his lifelong love, Iris. They were married for 67 years. He then joined the Airforce to become a Pilot. Unfortunately, he was unable to fly due to his eyesight so after three years in the Airforce he resigned his commission and joined the business world. He spent 20 years with Motorola and rose in the ranks to become the VP of Sales and Marketing for North America. Always striving to make a positive impact and inspire those around him, he was well respected by both his sales team and customers. Bob wasn’t finished yet; he then went on to run a successful insurance business with his wife Iris. He was awarded numerous awards throughout his insurance career due to his persistence, hard work, and his desire to be the best you can be. Bob's legacy will live on in the memories and hearts of all who loved and knew him.

Bob is survived by his son, Mark Brown, his wife Carrie, their two children Kayla and Mariah, and his Great Granddaughter, Lyllian. Bob will be remembered for his warmth, wisdom, and laughter. A memorial service will be held on March 2nd at Green Acres in Scottsdale, AZ where friends and family are invited to gather and honor the remarkable life of Bob.

Rest in peace Dad, your light will continue to shine in all who knew you.
