Roberto Rafael Ramirez Rodriguez, age 75, passed away on July 15, 2026. Born in Guaymas, Sonora, Mexico on October 12, 1950, Roberto built a life marked by steady devotion, principled honesty, and a generosity that reached family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He resided in Scottsdale, Arizona.
From an early age, Roberto’s sense of adventure and openness to new horizons shaped the course of his life. Through his work with the airlines, he moved throughout Mexico, living in Cabo San Lucas, Mazatlan, Guadalajara, Cancun, and Hermosillo—each place adding to a life defined by movement, curiosity, and loyal ties that never weakened with distance.
Roberto pursued higher education with determination, graduating from Universidad De Sinaloa with a bachelor’s degree. After studying aviation, he began a career in the airline industry that spanned 20 years, reflecting the same hard work and reliability that characterized everything he undertook. In 1995, he moved to Scottsdale, AZ, where he continued to learn and grow, attending Scottsdale Community College and earning an associate’s degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. He later retired from hotel management in January 2020, leaving behind a record of consistent effort, integrity, and respect for the people he worked alongside.
Roberto’s greatest pride was his family. He met Juana in Guaymas when he was 24, and their bond became a lasting foundation of love and loyalty. Roberto and Juana were married on June 30, 1979. They welcomed two daughters, Emmie in 1983 and Sara in 1985, and in time Roberto became a grandfather to Jonathan, born in 2015, and Daniel, born in 2019—roles he embraced with deep affection and quiet joy.
In his personal life, Roberto found happiness in travel, aviation, dogs, and, above all, family. Whether near or far, he remained a beloved presence—steadfast, giving, and true to his word. His life will be remembered with gratitude and enduring respect by those who carry his love forward.
