I was blessed to know Shelly. We laughed together, shared our stories, accepted one another just as we were, supported one another, worshiped God together, prayed together and for one another. I knew her to be a loving proud Mama bear to her precious cub; a great listener, an educated intelligent Native Woman who wanted to help people, especially her Native community. She was a freggin hoot to be around; and I will miss my sister in Christ Jesus. My condolences to her family and other friends. Below is a pic of Granda Park in Phx Az. Shelly and I discovered this park on one of our walks and she just loved it. Rest in peace vibrant, lovely and yes The Amaaaziiing Rochelle. Until we meet again....

4 months ago Rochelle walked into my life. We hit it off instantly. I spent hours talking and laughing with such a beautiful, intelligent, sassy woman. It was easy to open up her. I cannot convey the loss I feel. She is the Amazing Rochelle. She's a nebula! A bright wonder in the sky.
My heart goes out to all that Rochelle has touched. Especially you Emily. You are her angel and a nebula yourself.
I will always love you my Amazing Rochelle. You're with god now. Freed of this world. Shed of the weight. Onward to heaven.

I met Rochelle aka Shelly thru Meetup. We immediately bonded due to our mutual interests of live music and animals. This picture is a selfie Shelly took of us at Gypsy Roadhouse.

Rochelle aka Shelly and I met in 2010 via a Meetup group titled ARIZONA COSTUMED REVELERS that attended events and socials dressed in appropriately themed costumes. At our first encounter, I donned a golden zoot suit with a fedora while Shelly was a sexy cowgirl with a bigger hat than mine! As we're both of Native-American ancestry, liked Heavy Metal and costumes, we got along well. May The Great Spirit embrace Shelly along with her family/friends during this difficult time. +++

I had the pleasure of working with her at Native American Connections. She was a very kind spirit, friendly, and beautiful inside and out. I wish those that knew her closer my condolensences and hope the she continuing to be an amazing spirit, wherever she is.
