Ron was a most generous man.  Generous with his time, knowledge and finances, if someone was in need of any anything that Ron could offer, he was sure to be there. He was not only a good Samaritan, he would go out of his way to help anyone in need. Because of Ron Swansons' faith in God and the teachings of Jesus Christ, many of us have been blessed to have known him.  We will always remember him as a benefactor that improved our faith in God and well being.

We were so sorry to hear about Ron.  Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.   I have such good memories of Ron when he was working the lights at our complex show.  He was so helpful to each of us.  He made sure that we were each standing in the best spot, so the lighting would be perfect.  He was such a gentleman.  And thank you for sharing so many pictures of your beautiful family.   Please take care and know that we are sending our love.    

Ron has been such a faithful servant of God through the years. He has been a great encouragement to Oak Lawn Bible Church . Over the past 25 years of my ministry he has sent words of encouragement, faithful support, and I've enjoyed Ron and Sonja visiting with us.  His faithful prayer for the work of the Lord will be greatly missed. Now he has graduated into the presence of His God experiencing the rest that God promises the faithful. He invested his life in eternal things by honoring the Lord and pointing so many to Jesus. Ron finished well! He is surely receiving great reward for faithful service.

Dearest Sonja. I am so sorry for your loss of such a wonderful Godly man. I wish we could have gotten to know him better. The times that we did get to visit in Charleston allowed us to see that he was perfect for you. Ernie talks about how easy he was to talk to and what a gentleman he was. I wish we could have come to Scottsdale to see you and him. Please remember that you are one of my favorite cousins and I have so much respect and admiration for you. I love you and will be praying for you during this time of grief. You will miss him but just the thought of him being with Jesus Christ will be your greatest comfort. And knowing that you will see him again in Heaven is the blessed hope. Hugs and kisses to you. Joyce and Ernie Clay.

Our prayers and sympathy go our to you at this time, Sonja, and the family of Ron. I do remember the two of you from Oak Lawn Bible Church days.  I so enjoyed the time the three of us had in Phoenix as we met for breakfast several years ago. I have not been to Phoenix since then, but am glad for the time we had together discussing ministry.  Also, Rev. Chuck Svoboda had lots of fond memories (and stories) of you both through the years.
Though we sorrow at the passing of Ron, we sorrow not as others who have no hope in Christ.  In Psalm 46:4-5, we are assured from God's Word: "There is a river...a city...and God is there too..." Like in Revelation 22:4-5: "We will see His face...!" Our friend Ron has been promoted, for sure into the eternal presence of the Lord! (2 Corinth. 5:8)
Though we cannot get away to Phoenix for the memorial (we are scheduled to help a church in WI), we continue in prayer for the memorial service, family  and friends in attendance.
Your faithful interest, prayers and support through the years have been a great encouragement to us at Bible Related Ministries.
May the God of all comfort fill your hearts with His presence at this special time of sharing memories and hope in Christ.

    I remember the birthday you had for him, probably his 80 th.  I so enjoyed seeing the humorous side of Ron.  It was  a pleasure to know him.
