Roy Lee Dennis

Roy Lee Dennis, born February 21, 1936 at Humboldt, Arizona, and passed away on March 9, 2014 in Phoenix, Arizona. Roy married Carol Betty Mahler Dennis on September 13, 1953, and they celebrated 56 years together. He was the son of the late John Wesley Dennis and Naomi Ruth (Callaway) Dennis. He is the dear dad of Debbie (Ike) Koole, Danny (Sheila) Dennis, and the late Valerie Caroy Dennis; dear grandpa of Becky, Amanda and David Dennis, and Matthew and Mike Koole; dear great grandpa of Sarah Mullins and Laila Dennis; dear brother of Bob (Helen) Dennis and Lanaha (Kenneth) Chumley, and the late James Wiley Dennis, Darlene Mary Word, Devilla Louise Matteson, and Margerette Naomi Hunt. Survived by many other family members and friends. Roy graduated from Phoenix Union High School, and had been a farm worker, a heavy equipment mechanic and a crane operator. Visitation 7 - 9 PM Wed. Mar. 12, 2014 at Green Acres Mortuary, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85257, where funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Thursday, Mar. 13, 2014.
