Leonard , Ruth Z. Ruth Jean Zimmermann Leonard, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on February 22, 2015. She was born May 9, 1926 in Hackensack, New Jersey. She married James A. Leonard Jr. in 1946; he predeceased her in 2008. Ruth was a homemaker and devoted her life to being a wife & mother. She was most proud of her children and their families. She is survived by her four children: Jim Leonard (Sheryl), Kathy Stamadianos (Jim), Nancy Ray (Dan), and Paul Leonard (Susan). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday March 2, 11:00 am at Green Acres Chapel of Light, 401 N. Hayden Rd. in Scottsdale. The family requests that contributions be made to a charity of your choosing.
