Sara "Sally" May Hill

SARA “SALLY” MAY (BUCHANAN) HILL passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at the age of 84. She was born in Apollo, PA on July 14, 1932. Sally could be described in many ways: a special mother, a wonderful grandmother, matriarch, true friend, an excellent cook, baker, and seamstress. She crocheted hats for the homeless and blankets for all occasions. She would lend a helping hand to anyone she could, especially her family. She would talk to any stranger. Sally retired after a successful 30 year career as an Executive Assistant for Motorola being recognized twice for the prestigious, Motorola of the Month. She volunteered at PV Hospital and spent more time with her friends and family, her favorite past time.

Sally is survived by her children: Tom Hill, Bernie Hill-Garcia, (Albert), Randy Hill, (Patricia). Seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren. Three sisters: Betty Stottlemyer, Dorothy Heffernan, Mary Burnes, One brother: Terry Buchanan, (Pauline).

A Private Service was held on January 7, 2016, for the immediate family.

A Celebration of Life will take place January 21, 2017 at North Ridge Community Church, 6363 E. Dynamite Blvd, Cave Creek, AZ 85331 from 2-4 pm in the Ridge Café.
