

Scott Dillman Rhorer, 77, of Cottonwood, Arizona passed away August 13, 2021. He was born to parents Milton and Miriam Rhorer, on December 28, 1943, in Phoenix, Arizona. He graduated from West High School in 1961.
Scott served in the National Guard in the late 60s and graduated from Northern Arizona University in 1971 with a degree in Latin American Studies.
Scott was happiest outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed draining Oak Creek of its trout and sharing the best fishing spots with his sons. He loved gardening and was an expert in all things related to plants and flowers. He also enjoyed reading, watching documentaries and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and friends.
Scott was a kind, generous, and optimistic man with a good sense of humor. He treated everyone with dignity and respect. He will be deeply missed by his family and many others.
Scott is survived by his four sons Jason (Karen) of Bath, Maine; Jim (Nina) of Mesa, Arizona; Matt (Jennifer) of Scottsdale, Arizona; Michael (Kara) of Cottonwood, Arizona; eight grandchildren, Sofia, Ava, Waylon, Liam, Gia, Milana, Mia, Otis; sister, Kathleen of Phoenix, Arizona; and many loving relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 2:00 at Green Acres Funeral Home & Cemetery, 401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale AZ, 85257. A reception will immediately follow the memorial.
