Sharyn Elizabeth Figueroa

Sharyn was born on January 10, 1947, to Blanchette (Dees) and Frank Thuman in Mount Vernon, New York. She was raised in Yonkers and Long Island where she lived until 1982 when she moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. She resided in Chandler, Arizona with Rick, her husband of 31 years.

Sharyn will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family. She never turned down a good time and loved attending social gatherings especially if there was dancing. In her spare time, she enjoyed making jewelry, watching movies, attending live events and traveling. Sharyn was a valued employee of Honor Health for 39 years.

In addition to her husband, she will be dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her daughters Kimberly Celentano (Mark) of Gilbert, Arizona and Cheryl Tedrow of Scottsdale, Arizona, grandchildren, Andrew Valdez, Bella Valdez, Robert Celentano, Laura Welco (Bennett) Joseph Celentano, Thomas Celentano and Gianna Celentano. She was the beloved sister of Joseph Thuman of Maryland, John Thuman (Barbara) of Yonkers, and Patricia Viso (Paul) of Scottsdale. She was a cherished aunt to several nieces and nephews. Sharyn is predeceased by her parents, brother Frank Thuman and nephew Joseph, John and Frank.

A funeral mass will be held on June 25, 2026, at 10:30 am at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church. 2654 E Williams Field Road, Gilbert AZ.

A memorial service will take place on June 26, 2026 at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery at 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale AZ at 10:00AM.
