Sherwood was born on October 28th, 1932 in the Bronx, New York. He married Maxine Bloomfield Polsky in October of 1956 and they were married for 64 years. He and Maxine moved to Southern California in 1963 and laid down roots in Rolling Hills Estates until moving in 2014. They had three children Helane Sybil, Michael Jonas, and Katie Sarah. He spent many years as a computer programmer and was a pioneer in the cutting-edge field of computer technology in the 60’s. He spent his final years in Peoria, Arizona.
He is survived by his wife Maxine, children Sybil, Michael, Katie, and their partners Richard, Catalina, and Shelley; his grandchildren Shauna, Stephen, Kayley, Joshua, and Justin; and his niece and nephew, Barbara and Barry Price.
