I knew Susan in junior high school in Queens, New York. Such a lovely, sweet and kind person. I would have asked her to be my girlfriend if I had only had the courage. Rest In Peace. I'm so sorry I never had the chance to tell you how wonderful you were.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Susan. She was always so cheerful and loved bringing her mother here to the Tempe YMCA. She will be missed.

   As an employee of the Tempe YMCA, I would often greet Susan and her mother,Shirley, when they would check in at our "Y". Along with being very pleasant, they were two of our most committed members, coming in on most days of the week. Usually, Susan and Shirley, would spend some time watching CNN on our lobby's T.V., leading us to have many thought provoking discussions. Susan's opinions were always very insightful. To know that she is no longer with us, has been very difficult for me to wrap my brain around. My coworkers and I, will miss her greatly!

We were sorry to hear that Susan had passed.  She brought her mother, Shirley, to the Tempe YMCA on a regular basis.  They would often sit in the lobby and watch television, then work their way back to the exercise room.  Susan was very attentive to her mother during their use of the facility.  Susan is missed and we miss seeing her mother as well at the Tempe YMCA.  Many Blessings to Susan's family.
