Ted Coates, 84, of Scottsdale, AZ. was born in Dayton, Ohio on June 28, 1932 and passed away on October 16, 2016. Ted was preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley Coates; he is survived by his two children; Jamie (Joe) Cortright and Jim (Mary Anne) Coates, four grandchildren; Jimmy (Ashley) Cortright, Tricia (Chris) Kitaeff, Stephen Luciani and Anna Luciani, and four great-grandchildren; Chloe, Marley, Waverly and Kingston.
