Twila Vanessa Henderson was born on May 28,1970 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Durrell Henderson and Booker T. Hamilton Sr. She passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 56.
Twila was a mother and is survived by her three children, Dejshawn Ginnis, Shawn Henderson, and Tashia Estes. She was the grandmother to Marie Ginnis, Miguel Estes Jr, Shawn Jr, Knowledge Estes, Sonny, Siyahri, Sadie, and Dajahni, with another grandchild on the way.
Twila is also survived by her siblings, Elva and Debra of Arizona, Russia, Thomas and Bruce of Oklahoma, Gilbert of Nevada, Vivian Lovelace of Virginia, Alvin Hamilton and Bernice Johnson-Gardner of Oklahoma along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
To everyone, Twila was more than a mother, sister, aunt, friend—she was an unapologetic force who lived her life the way she wanted to. She was a ride-or-die type of person who didn't take life too seriously. Her protective nature, sense of humor, youthful spirit, and love made her truly one of a kind.
Twila was a woman whose presence was impossible to forget. She had a way of bringing laughter into a room while also making sure the people around her knew she'd always have their back. Twila loved fiercely, and those who were fortunate enough to know her experienced a love that was genuine, strong, and unforgettable.
Although her passing leaves an emptiness that cannot be replaced, the impact of her free spiritedness will never be forgotten.
Her laughter will be remembered.
Her honesty will be appreciated.
Her boldness will be missed.
And her love will remain with us forever.

A Funeral Service will be held at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, Saguaro, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257, US, on September 27, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A Graveside Service will be held at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, Serenity Mausoleum, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257, US, on September 27, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
All black formal attire is requested by the family
