Vereda Daphine Reddington, 91, of Mesa, Arizona passed away October 10, 2021 at her home in Fort Worth, Texas with her son, James Arrigan. She was born June 12, 1930 in Bismark, Arkansas, the daughter of Jessie and Tennie (Caldwell) Myers.
Vereda (Reda) worked many years at Mesa Lutheran Hospital, Phoenix Regional Medical Center, as well as several hospitals in the valley at different positions. She was an active member of Saguaro Hills Baptist Church in Mesa, AZ. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with family and friends; gardening; baking and listening to gospel and grand old opry music.
Vereda is survived by: her children, Havis (Larry) (Barbara) Steele of Great Falls. MT; Tom (Jean) Arrigan of Tempe, AZ; James Arrigan of Fort Worth, TX; and nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Merrill, Charles, James, Harlon; and sister, Juanita and her children Robert Arrigan and Carol Solano.
Funeral Services, in Reda's honor will be held at Green Acres Mortuary (401 N Hayden Rd Scottsdale, AZ 85257) Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Vereda will be laid to rest at Green Acres Cemetery in Scottsdale, AZ 85257.
