She was born on March 16, 1930 in London Mills, IL. Verlee moved to Mesa in 1968 where she worked as a seamstress and as a waitress. She was the daughter of Earl and Ida Mae Howard, and is survived by Terry Roberts, Debbie (Bobby) Crow, Rick (Lisa) Staats, and Roy Howard. She has 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grand children.
Verlee was preceded in death by her mother, father, and a daughter, Pamela Staats.
Verlee's funeral service will be held graveside in the Garden of Memories at the east end of Green Acres Cemetery on Friday, March 24 at 12:00 PM.
