Walter Pierce Pyland

Walter P. Pyland, age 85, born April 3, 1931, passed away on January 14, 2017 at his home in Phoenix, AZ. Wally was born in East Moline, Illinois to Edna and Walter Pyland. He started working in grade school as a paperboy. He later worked for John Deer Harvester and found his passion was sales. He relocated his family from Illinois to Arizona in 1971. He sold real estate and work in real estate investment for nearly four decades. Wally’s passion for life was his family and his church. Wally is in heaven with his Mother, Father, two brothers and one sister, among many other relatives. His wife Norma, his brother David, five children, 11 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren survive him. There will be a visitation for Wally on Friday, January 20 at 1:00 pm, with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 pm. All services will be held at Green Acres Mortuary and Cemetery, 401 N Hayden Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85257.
