Wendy Lynn Diggs

She was born on May 31, 1978 in Phoenix and raised by her parents Terry and Leslie Vernon.

Wendy married Derek Gregory Diggs in 2010 and was blessed with a son, Kaleb Gregory Diggs, that same year.

What Wendy loved the most was family and friends. She loved cooking, dancing, and being outdoors, but her favorite thing was spending time with her son, Kaleb.

Wendy was an active member of the LDS church and the Arizona Pride clogging team where she won many national clogging championships.

Wendy had a rewarding career with Data Trace and United Healthcare making many, many friends along the way.

She is survived by her husband and son, her parents and four siblings, Jason, Karen, Amanda, and Duane, and a host of other family members.

Wendy will be greatly missed. Her warmth, love of life, and genuine care and concern for those around her left a positive mark on the lives of all who were lucky enough to know her. She maintained her sense of humor and trademark smile all the way to the end.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 16th at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ.
