William James Harkins III

William James Harkins III, 74, of Tempe, Arizona passed away on July 26, 2026. He was born on October 13, 1951 in Pennsylvania where he spent half of his life. He eventually moved to Arizona in the late 80s.

William matriculated at Widener University in Pennsylvania. He worked for over 20 years in the automotive industry and spent 25 years working in the court system and for law enforcement.

William was a big fan of soccer, race cars and hiking. He also enjoyed World War II history and gaming, cooking and gardening.

William is survived by his wife, Julia; son Maxwell (Kristin); daughter Rose; grandchildren Ben and Cal; brother Stephen (Lyn); nephew Geoffrey; niece Victoria; and his great-nephews Troy and Henry. He is preceded in death by his parents Gloria Donato and William Harkins Jr.
