Alice Lau of Bellevue, Washington passed away peacefully on June 18, 2020, in the comforts of her home at the age of 60. She was born to the late Yim Lung Chan and Fung Wong in Hong Kong. It was there that she grew her own family, before coming to the U.S. and settling in Bellevue in 1992. She spent the next decades raising her family, instilling in them a love for her adventurous and masterful cooking, and making sure to balance all of life with a positive outlook and a healthy dose of fresh air.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Ronnie Lau, as well as her children: Kimmy Lau and Karen (Paul) Lau-Szilard, her siblings: James Chan, Rita Chin, Lisa Li, and Nancy Chan, numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Alice was immensely proud of her family and leaves behind nothing but beautiful and cherished memories. She was loved and respected by all who knew her; she cared deeply for those around her and will be greatly missed by all.

Alice was more than a co-worker, she was a true friend.
I would love seeing her each day and she she made all of our Lives so much easier at work. Alice was a kind warm hearted soul who knew her role in the workplace..
Alice and I would have heart to heart conversations about Life, She was a wonderful listener and she always gave so much of herself.
She is with our Lord now and I know that we will meet again.
Rest for now, little Angel.
I Love you!

I was so shocked to 'get that phone call'. Our Sweet Alice...
I've worked with Alice for a great number of years in the Application Coding department, I was her Team Lead. She was a very hard, cautious worker & always applying her best at anything she did.
My prayers and thoughts are with the family & friends of the Lau Family.
You'll be greatly missed Alice. Now RIP, all is well.

I will miss going into the office to hear Alice yell "Andy help!" when she was having computer issues. Alice always had such a warm presence about her and would help brightened the day with a smile and a hi. Going into the office now will feel weird without seeing Alice walking around the parking lot. Our office world lost a bright star and Alice will be missed greatly.

Sweet Alice- that is what Alice was to me. Alice was so nice, so polite, such a hard worker. She had a smile that could light up a room and the sweetest laugh. She always said hi and smiled at people as she passed them in the hall at work, in the parking garage or just outside. I worked in the office on Tuesdays- and every Tuesday I would pull into the parking garage and there was Alice, doing her daily morning walk. Seeing her always brought a smile to my face. Dear Alice, I will miss your sweet spirit and your smile so very much. I can still hear your soft laughter......
My thoughts and prayers go out to her husband and daughters and the rest of her family.

I didn't know Alice very well but want to share how I will remember her. Every time I saw her in the office whether that was in the hall, passing by her desk or in the kitchen she made it a point to always give me a warm smile and say hello to my name. Now you might think this is something many people do but with Alice, it was genuine and it was personal. She hardly knew me, but that didn't matter. First thought when I heard was, I will miss that sweet and friendly smile. Thank you for sharing your wife, your mom, your sister and friend with all of us at Farmers Life Ins. As I have heard from many co-workers this past week that knew and worked with her the common phrases I heard was she was so sweet, so nice and such a hard worker. I want you to know she was appreciated and truly liked by so many and we will miss her. Warm thoughts and prayers to all of you.
