Amy Horn joined the Lord on Memorial Day, 2025 after a brief battle with cancer. Amy grew up in Lake Forest Park, Washington. She attended Hamlin Robinson and New Horizon Schools and received an Associate of Arts degree from North Seattle Community College.
In 2008, Amy moved to Hurst, Texas to be close to and provide support for her mother. Amy returned to Lake Forest Park in 2024.
Amy was a devoted animal lover and had many dogs and cats over the years. She was a big fan of the movies, especially anything Disney. She enjoyed many activities on and around Lake Washington, watching the eagles soar over the lake and the newly hatched Blue Herons as they would learn to fly.
Amy is survived by her mother, Ruth Ann Wheeler, Hurst, Texas, her father, Albert "Skip" Horn, Lake Forest Park, her sister, Tanya Triola, Tukwila and her adorable pet, Jem.
It is suggested that donations be made for Cancer research or Hamlin Robinson School.
Private services will be held for family and friends.
Everyone who met Amy experienced her kindness. She will be in the hearts of all who knew her and loved her.
