

Amy Kaisaki, age 81, passed away on August 21, 2010. Born in Harlowton, MT to Tokomatsu and Sumi Muneta, she later relocated to Spokane, WA where she lived most of her adult life. Amy attended Montana State University where she graduated with degrees in chemistry and bacteriology. She worked as a medical technologist and later at Fred S. James Insurance in data processing. She married Arthur Kaisaki and together they raised three children before he passed away after 45 years of marriage. Amy loved to play golf with her friends in Spokane and after moving to Edmonds, WA, she enjoyed playing bridge and Mahjong. Quilting, sewing, playing with her grandchildren, and relaxing with a good book were also favorite pastimes.
Amy will be greatly missed by her children, Susan, David (Carol), and Nancy Yonemitsu (Tony), grandchildren Marisa, Mitchell, and Amy, and brothers Ed and Paul (Joann) Muneta, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur (Aggie), sisters Kate Muneta, Jean Wilkins, and brother Hank Muneta. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 10, 2010 at Acacia Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way NE, Seattle at 10AM. Private interment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery.
