Anne Elizabeth Lasley

Anne was born on June 28, 1917 in Butte, Montana to Fred and Elsie Christie. She died peacefully at her home in Seattle, May 8, 2015. Anne graduated from Ballard High School in 1935 and from UW in 1939.

Anne learned the knitting business at H.L. Whiting Knitting Co. She became co-owner of Lasley Knitting Mills with her beloved husband Willard A. Lasley Sr. She was preceded in death by husband Willard A. Lasley, Sr. and her sister Marjorie Kendall.

Anne is survived by her sister Barbara Jane Christie, nieces; Vicki (Steve) Young, Christie (Bruce) Roundy, nephew Doug (Patti) Rambo and many great nieces and great nephews. She was stepmother to Willard A. Lasley,Jr. of Seattle and Lynn (Lonn) Liffick of Willsonville, Or. She is also survived by step-grandchildren, Thane (Patti), Kristin (Chip) and their families.

Anne was a member of Daughters of the Nile and a former member of the Washington Athletic Club and Seattle Tennis Club. The family would like to thank her wonderful caregiver Meng who provided loving care and support to Anne.

A memorial service will be held at Acacia Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way NE, Seattle, Washington on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 2:00 pm.

A beautiful woman has left our lives but will forever live on in the many hearts she touched.
