My mother ( Nanay ) held the family together through thick and thin. Her example showed us how to continue as a close family together.
We all love you and will miss you so much.
You will never be forgotten.

I will miss her cooking and spending time on holidays gathering with family. She took care of me growing up and was such a wonderful grandmother to me. I hope to be strong woman just like her. Heaven has gained an angel, she will truly be missed.

Thanks for the pictures. It brings back my childhood memories growing up in Pandacan. Aling Avelina as we fondly called her was a petite lady. I would hear her voice calling for her children. Rest In Peace Aling Avelina.

She was a woman of small stature but great strength. She lived through many hardships and made many sacrifices, yet managed to survive and raise a family of seven wonderful children. She was a great cook and I remember many delicious meals at her house. I will never forget her and her kindness towards me. My deepest sympathies to the entire family. - Margie
