Carolyn Janet Rogers

Duke and Bonnie divorced in 1942 and they both remarried other people.

Bonnie married Ernest McConville in 1945 and she gave birth to their twins, Linda and Larry on November, 10, 1945.

Carole grew up in West Seattle and attended West Seattle Elementary school and Madison Middle School. She dropped out of school at the age of 14 to help care for her sister and brother.

Carole met Wayne Miller through mutual friends and they got married in 1952. From their union their son, Terry Wayne, was born February 1, 1953 and daughter, Bonnie Ruth, was born March 10, 1954. Wayne and Carole were married for 7 years before they divorced.

In 1958 she met the love of her life, Norman E. Rogers and they got married on January 17th, 1959.

Carole gave birth to their son, Randy Lee Rogers on October 14, 1961.

On April, 26, 1977, Norm passed in to glory, leaving Carole a widow when she was only 44 years old.

In 1977 she got her GED and perused some computer classes.

Carole loved to garden and get her hands dirty. She also loved to play video games and cards. Pinochle was her favorite.

Carole was baptized in 1988 along with her Mother and Daughter. She was a member of Grace Church for many, many years.

In 2019, Carole began to display signs of dementia and Alzheimer's disease and eventually was moved to Paradise Family Home in Renton, WA. Where she thrived and was well taken care of until her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, called her home on September, 5th, 2024.

Carole was preceded in death by her Granddaughter Ashley Smith on January 4th, 1998.

Carole leaves behind, her sons, Terry (Lori) and Randy, her daughter Bonnie (Ron), step sons Ron(Nancy), Rick, her sister, Linda and brother Larry. Also her Grandchildren Lyndee (Wil), Corinne, Clinton, Spencer, Stuart, Ron Jr. (Christina), Mike (Wendy), Gary(Linnea), Jennifer, Norman and Katerina and great grandchildren SJ, Cale, and Hunter, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.

Her greatest achievement was accepting Jesus as her Lord and Savior when she was 10 years old.
