It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Catherine, who passed away on October 6, 2026, at the age of 61, surrounded by her daughters, who were lovingly by her side.
Though our hearts are broken by her absence, we are forever grateful for the life she lived and the love she gave. A mother’s love leaves an imprint that time cannot erase, woven into the lives of her children and carried forward through generations.
Catherine was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. Born in Seattle, Washington, she will be remembered for her incredible strength, resilience, and unconditional warmth. She was a remarkably smart woman who brought immense joy into the lives of everyone she met. Her life was made deeply meaningful by her boundless devotion to her family and her adventurous spirit. Catherine found true happiness in the beauty of nature as an avid hiker, and she loved traveling to experience other cultures with an open heart. She found equal joy in quieter moments spent reading, and possessed a profound love for history, great music, and sharing good food with those she held dear.
Her love and presence will forever remain a part of the people fortunate enough to have known her. Although we must now learn to navigate this world without her physical presence, the memories we shared and the love she gave us will continue to live on in our hearts.
She leaves behind her devoted mother, her loving sister and brother, her two treasured daughters, and her four adored grandsons, to whom she was a deeply beloved "Gigi."
We invite family and friends to join us in celebrating her life and honoring the memories she leaves behind.
