

Clayton was Predeceased by his wife of 32 years, Jeanne Brown
Survivors include Brother A. Lavonne( Barbara, Napa, California, sons Edward Thousand Palms, California and John Souderton PA(Cindy), Son James Torrance, California( Rosa) seven grand children and four Great Grand Children as well as many nieces and nephews.
Linse WAs born on a farm near Milbank in1919. He lived there until 1936, when the family moved to Seattle. Linse graduated from Franklin High School in Seattle and attended the University of Washington.
He enlisted in the Navy in 1939 and served in the South Pacific, aboard the USS Maryland. He was aboard the ship Dec. 7th 1941 the day the infamous attack on pearl Harbor. Linse was honorably discharged in October 1945.
After WWII Linse worked in a gold mining operation in Alaska before Marrying his wife Jeanne. He owned the Town Tavern in Winlock Washington for six years.
The family moved to Seattle, where Linse began his career with Boeing. He also worked with Winchell's as well as in real estate. During this period he worked extremely hard building his and wife's Jeanne's dream home in Kenmore Washington that was completed in 1969. HE retired from Boeing in 1982.In 1984, He move to the St. John/Endicott area. He enjoyed community activities, often playing bridge and twilight golf. He attended St. John Methodist Church.
Each Year Linse would Travel to Southern California. He enjoyed visiting and spending time with his extended family up and down the west coats. He lived a completely independent lifestyle right up until the end of his life, a strong testament to his Scottish and German heritage.
He will be missed.
