When I was little Uncle Dennis would always ask me what my name was, well I could never say Kathryn so it would always come out as Ka Ka. This was obviously comical to Dennis so this name was with me forever.  I spoke with Dennis just a few months ago and yes Ka Ka Jean it was.  Uncle, you are forever in my heart with many, many memories.

My marriage to Dennis gave us our wonderful son, Brian. We met when I was 15. He was My Uncle Wils' best friend. I remember the days of going flying with him in the float planes from Kenmore and camping with his brother Don and his wife Betty East of the mountains and driving up in the hills looking for rattlesnakes for him to shoot. We never saw any but certainly heard the rattling tails. He was the clown at any function and much loved. As is his son. Rest in Peace My Friend.

I herd of dennis name around my job rossoe a week after I was hire.all the guys talk about dennis what a good worker he was at rossoe that dennis know a lot n how guys learn from him.I still didn't know who he was until I went to hadco to pick up a part for a job.I walk up to the counter n this guy ask me if I need any help I said yea need a part for a job.but this guy keep looking at my jacket n smilling the whole time so I ask.he siad so u work at rossoe I said yea just started ther.he say yea I work ther.I said r u dennis he said yea.from then on we talk to each other like we work together for long time being new at this job dennis told me its a good job n I can learn alot.make along story short.I got the part for the job n his phone number dennis said.if I ever need help to give him a call day or night.from then on we become friends n I don't have many friends.I'm going to mis dennis n r talk.have a good trip my friend we will see u again no goodbys.I will not forget u.till next time.

   I know the best part of being a big brother was to be able to tease you and get away with it. I remember the great times we had flying model airplanes, fishing, hunting and camping in the mountains. I remember the time we built a fire to warm our feet and you caught you shoes on fire with you feet in them.
I will miss the funny things you always had to say.

I have some good times with Dennis at Rossoe and before Rossoe in fact if he hadnt left that note on my door back in 86 i would have never got my great job at Rossoe...Ill always remember you Denny............

Having known Dennis since Junior High we were able to share many good times.  From a recent skeet shooting escapade on the North Fork Road near North Bend, to the days when he piloted float planes out of Kenmore Air Harbor.  From the bygone days of being the Counter Man at North City Auto Parts in High School, the Rossoe Service Technician, to the Man behind the counter at Airefco.  Always the best at what he did but stood ready to give you a wise crack at the drop of a hat.   As we kindly referred to each other – you will be missed “Dummy”

I loved talking to Dennis and saying things to get a reaction out of him.
He is missed.

It was always fun working with Dennis. I remember he had to come save me when we had snow and it was a real adventure getting to Rossoe. You will be missed.

Thank you to everyone for your kind words. Although my father was a very private person I know that he held his friends very close and adored each one of you. We are in the process of planning a gathering to remember him in the next couple weeks. Dennis, I was so sorry to hear of your passing. I will miss you calling me the "wrong" name on purpose ("What's going on Maria?"). You will be missed.
